Bolivian Deluxe

The Bolivian Deluxe is a grand auditorium guitar with a solid sitka spruce top and book matched Bolivian Rosewood back and sides. The heartwood on the back makes each guitar a unique work of art. The mahogany bevel armrest adds comfort while playing this beautiful guitar. It has a rosewood fretboard with an oak leaf of made of maple, maple leaf made of padauk, and maple elm leaf markers. The bridge is rosewood. The bone nut and saddle help to enhance the tone. All of that plus African padauk and abalone rosette and binding. The custom chrome die-cast tuning machines are very tactile. This guitar is equipped with the FXA system and D'Addario strings.

Bolivian Rosewood grains are tighter than a typical rosewood specimen, and it is thought to have a more distinctly percussive taptone. Its tonal response is said to have tight lows, present mids and a clear, singing high end response.

Ebony Deluxe

The Ebony Deluxe is a grand auditorium cutaway guitar with a solid AA western red cedar top and ebony back and sides. Ebony has a bright attack, great sustain, and excellent durability compared to rosewood. Ebony has a crisp attack with the density of Maple, but with more brittle grains and a stronger fundamental tone than Maple. It has a rosewood fretboard and bridge with bone nut and saddle for tonal enhancement. Chrome custom die-cast tuning machines give a very tactile feel and look good with the solid red cedar top. This guitar is equipped with the FXC system and D'Addario strings.

Ebony has a crisp attack with the density of Maple, but a stronger fundamental tone than Maple. It has a tremendous amount of percussive overtones in the pick attack, that mute out shortly thereafter to foster great, long, sustain.
 


Mahogany Deluxe

The Mahogany Deluxe Grand Auditorium cutaway has a black bevel armrest, solid mahogany top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fretboard with dot markers, rosewood bridge, custom chrome tuning machines, bone nut and saddle, and gloss natural finish. This guitar is equipped with the FXC system and D'Addario strings.

Mahogany generally has a warm sounding tone, only subtle overtones, a compact sound, strong mids, soft highs, subtle but full bass. Mahogany can be described as “earthy, strong, beefy” sound. When used as a back/side wood to compliment a brighter sounding top wood, mahogany is good for mellowing out the brightness and adding some warmth and a stronger mid-range plus softening the highs and reducing the overtones.
